The Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) is a new measuring process, designed to better reflect real driving conditions and give a more accurate view of a vehicle's emissions and fuel economy.
WLTP will affect all brands, not just ŠKODA, and could mean an increase in road tax for your new car.
No technical changes have been made meaning the actual talepipe emissions produced do not change. The cost impact for ŠKODA vehicles ranges from £0 to £960 with a weighted average of £300 across the whole range. As this is a UK tax, it is applicable to any car registered on or after 1st April 2020 irrespective of when the car was ordered.
