Unfortunately, the pandemic has brought extraordinary challenges. There has been significant impacts on production and supply chains for electronic components such as semiconductor chips. This is affecting the automotive industry on a global level.
Due to Škoda's continuous effort at keeping all factories COVID-19 safe, production line processes have reduced production capacity and therefore slowed down the construction and development of new cars.
As there is a high level of demand for Škoda products, this has therefore meant that delivery schedules have been disrupted, and much longer lead times than usual. Unfortunately this means that it will take longer before we can confirm the final production and delivery date for brand-new cars.
We understand that this is not only disappointing, but may also cause you inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and your custom. It means the world to us, and we promise you that your new Škoda model will undoubtedly be worth the wait!
