Station Garage were proud to donate over £4,500 to SERV Sussex

We are delighted to announce that we have raised over £4,500 for our charity of the year SERV Sussex – a service run by emergency rider volunteers that provides night time transportation of blood, blood products and other urgent medical items for NHS hospitals across the county.

Throughout 2016 our team undertook a number of fundraising activities to raise money for SERV Sussex. Activities included a £1 donation for every MOT the garage completed, a celebrity auction, a team bake sale held at The Forum in Horsham town and a charity skydive - which saw some of our Sales team (Paul Garner, Holly Salmon and Colin Leitch) jump from 15,000 ft, the highest possible altitude which to parachute from in the UK.

James Thorpe, Dealer Principal at Station Garage in Horsham, commented:

“We’re thrilled with how much we’ve been able to raise for SERV Sussex. The charity provides a vital service in our region and helps save thousands of lives each year. I’m really looking forward to helping another local charity this year and highly encourage as many community groups, schools or charities to put themselves forward. Our team are ready and motivated to help raise vital funds for a deserving cause in 2017.”
