It's time for a fresh look, as Škoda’s popular small family car has been innovated throughout to make it even safer and better equipped than ever before.
Inside and out, the new Fabia has been designed to turn heads. With a sharper exterior, more spacious interior and new turbocharged engine added to an already stylish and iconic look, everything is sleeker with the Škoda Fabia.
The Škoda Fabia will command attention with its emotive look and confident proportions. The sporty appearance is accentuated by crisp-cut headlights and rear lights incorporating modern LED technology. The sleek and sporty impression is underlined even more by new wheels up to 18" in diameter. One new design is on the front doors, where the body lines hint at the characteristic triangular shape of the Czech flag. It's design is loud and proud from roof to chassis, making it an exhilarating new addition to the Škoda line-up. With it's sweeping bold lines and sharp exterior detailing, the FABIA actively encourages you to embrace your stylish side.
Aerodynamics have shaped every design decision from the descending roof to the angle of the windscreen. Features include aero-optimised wing mirrors and an air curtain to streamline airflow around the front bumper. Even the alloy wheels, which include Aero covers have been designed with air resistance in mind.
The comfort of all passengers is perfectly enforced by a wide range of unrivalled Simply Clever features. This means that even the smallest detail is enhanced just for you. With plenty of room for all the family, the outer seats have been thoughtfully shaped for you to travel in comfort. The All-New Škoda Fabia will be launched in the Active, Ambition and Style trim levels as well as in a special first edition. In addition, there are also some fantastic visual touches to the model's design, such as a symmetrical instument panel and free-standing central display, and circular air vents. From the Ambition level upwards, you will find a chrome trim, restyled door handles and the front section of the dashboard is upholstered fabric with contrasting stitching.
The luggage compartment has been enlarged to 380 litres, big enough for a standard size pram and two hand luggage cases. By folding down the rear-seat backrests, you'll increase the boot's capacity to a full 1,190 litres. With Škoda's Simply Clever features, you'll be able to rest assured knowing that your cargo will be safely fixed in place.
There is a choice of five advanced and efficient EVO-generation petrol engines for The All-New Škoda Fabia. Škoda has not only increased the number of different engines available, but also the range of power outputs - from 48 kW(65 PS) to 110 kW(150 PS). For the first time the FABIA can be equipped with a larger, 50-litre fuel tank, allowing four of the five engines to cover more than 900 km in the WLTP cycle. A 15-mm-lower sports chassis with stiffer suspension is another option as is the Rough-Road package that offers 15mm more ground clearance.
All engines offered come from the EVO generation, meaning that they are even more economical than the predecessor units. The new range-topping engine is the 1.5 TSI with an output of 110kW(150 PS) and a 7-speed DSG as standard. Up to a power output of 70kW(95 PS), the FABIA comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox; for the 1.0 TSI producing 81 kW(110PS) there is a choice between 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed DSG. When fitted with the 50-litre tank, which is a brand new option for the range, instead of the 40-litre fuel tank, four of the five engines can achieve a maximum mileage of more than 900km.
The All-New Škoda Fabia offers the latest generation of modern infotainment systems with displays up to 9.2" in size. The built-in eSIM card means it is always online, allowing you to receive internet radio, access the wide-ranging Škoda Connect mobile online services, or use new infotainment apps.
With up to 9 airbags, the new Škoda Fabia is one of the safest cars in its class. Travel Assist 2.0 helps you to drive more safely. The automatic parking provides a higher level of comfort. The new FABIA is also the first in this model series to offer Traffic Sign Recognition and Front Assist with Predictive Pedestrian and Cyclist Protection. Other features include Park Assist, Lane Assist, Side Assist and Manoeuvre Assist.
In addition to this, The All-New Škoda Fabia comes with five all-new Simply Clever features. On top of that, it is drawing on eight features from its larger siblings for the first time. The card or pen holder in front of the gear lever keeps the interior tidy. For greater flexibility, there is a removable cup holder between the front seats and a storage box near the tunnel console for rear passengers. This is placed between the centre console and the rear seats and snaps into place.
